FAST Fins Adapted Swim Team concentrates on perfecting swim strokes, improving stamina, developing team skills, building self-confidence, following motor commands, and increasing fitness. Offered in multiple locations, swimmers compete in an intrasquad meet at the end of each season. Coaches are pediatric physical/occupational therapists and/or experienced swim professionals; coach:swimmer ratio is 1:4. Swimmers must 5 – 18 years old and be able to swim the length of a pool with minimal flotation. The spring season begins in February and the fall season begins in August.
